About Us
We help leaders become the kind of people we would want to follow.
At Breakthrough Leadership, we believe leadership is not a title—it's a practice. It’s not about being the smartest person in the room—it’s about unlocking the capacity in others. And it’s not about knowing more—it’s about becoming more.
We believe there is a huge difference between "knowing" and "being." That’s why we don’t do traditional training. We deliver experiences that change how leaders show up in real life and real work.
Our Mission
To help people lead with confidence, humility, and courage—because confident leaders create powerful ripple effects.
Our Core Approach
Leadership isn’t learned in a classroom.
It’s learned through action, reflection, and choice.
The ARC Method (Act, Reflect, Choose) is at the heart of every product and experience we offer. It’s a weekly rhythm that invites leaders to experiment, learn from real work, and build the confidence to lead with clarity and presence.
Whether you’re an emerging leader, an experienced executive, or an HR leader looking to scale capability across your organization—our work is designed to meet you where you are and help you grow forward.
Great leadership isn’t about having all the answers—it’s about creating the space for others to grow. Breakthrough helps leaders shift from telling to coaching, from pressure to trust, and from command to collaboration.
The result? A culture where people thrive and business grows.
Our Founder
Hal Halladay
Coach. Culture Builder. TEDx Speaker.
Hal created Breakthrough Leadership to challenge how companies think about leadership development. His philosophy: "everyone deserves the tools to grow, not just the top few." And leadership development should feel like a benefit, not something you have to qualify for. After years as a Chief People Officer and C-level executive in high growth companies, Hal developed a proven path to create cultures of performance, leadership & execution excellence - the secret to sustainable growth. Not only has he studied leadership, he has lived and died by building companies.
